Morgreth the Golisopod

What started as a bit of a joke, turned into a re-vamp. So here is the new Morgreth, first he was a Darkrai, then a Hydreigon, and now a Golisopod.

Background:

Morg has been a loner for as long as he could remember. He had no parents, no relatives or siblings, the closest thing he had to a family were a few Pokemon he befriended during his childhood at the hidden Pokemon orphanage he hatched in. Even then, he had barely anyone to turn to for comfort. Morg was often mocked for being a Wimpod; always cowering in fear, learning little to no good moves, and it really didn't help that had a stuttering voice. More then once he was seen huddled in a corner of a spare room, weeping in despair and loneliness. One day, an Audino came to the orphanage, noticed the sad pitiful Wimpod, and gently held him in her arms, giving the little one the warmth and comfort he always wanted. 

The Audino came by to visit Morg every day, promising him that when everything was ready she will take him home and raise him like a son. Morg kept counting down the weeks, waiting eagerly for the day he could finally leave the orphanage and be with his new mother-figure. But when the time came, she didn't come for him, for a human Trainer had captured the Audino shortly after she left to pick Morg up.

The bullying escalated after this, to the point where Morg believed nobody wanted him and left the orphanage. Before leaving, he vowed that he will become strong one day and return to punish his tormenters, no one will ever laugh at him again. No one had seen the Wimpod ever since, until the day he returned, many years later.

Only he was no longer the cowardly Wimpod that everyone mocked, but a giant battle-scarred Golisopod, brimming with rage and power. As he promised he hunted down the ones that bullied him during his child-hood. One by one he slaughtered them all, consumed by so much hate that he didn't even know what he was doing. Finally, he came upon the last of his opressors: a Delphox named Celine, on an island near the Kalos region. Unlike Morgreth's previous opponents, Celine held her ground and put up a good fight against the violent Golisopod, to the point where she almost defeated him. Unfortunately, fate was not on Celine's side that day, and in the end she too lost her life against Morgreth's wrath. 

With all of his tormenters dead, Morgreth finally felt at ease, but as soon as his rage faded his dark deeds came back to haunt him, and only then did he realize what he had done wrong. 

Heartbroken, bitter, and alone, all Morgreth could do was wander the wilds, contemplating on what he did, and how the world could possibly accept him now. It became too much for the Golisopod to handle, and he started considering suicide. However, before Morgreth could do anything, he was approached by another Delphox named Star, the daughter of Celine. Morgreth didn't know this at first, he thought it was Celine's ghost coming to haunt him, and so history repeated itself when he attacked Star in an attempt to drive her away. Unlike her mother before her, Star managed to defeat Morgreth, but this could be because her opponent wanted to die. 

After the battle, Morgreth begged Star to put him out of his misery, to free him from his past and so she may earn her revenge. Star considered this, but realized that if she killed him then she would be no different from the monster he used to be. So instead, she gave Morgreth a second chance by casting a powerful Psychic attack on him that erased the memories of his dark deeds. 

Free from his past, Morgreth now wanders around to no end, hoping to find a place where he can be accepted. A place to call home. 


Since losing his memories, Morg's personality has been altered back to the shy feeble state it was before he met Audino. So if you ever meet him, don't be intimidated by his appearance. Just offer him an apple (his favorite food), and let him know that you can be trusted. Despite his fearful nature, he will fight for those he cares for.
