The old manor on the hill towered over the town, like an ominous fiend watching over the living below. It's dark stonewalls musty from age. It was said that the owner of this manor was a dark figure named Andrew Noir. He never came down to the town, but he was seen gazing down upon it from his hill. He never wanted visitors, though nobody ever came to visit him, and always had different kinds of Ghost Type Pokemon guarding him. Of course everyone had his or her rumors; they say that he was a warlock and did gruesome experiments on foolish trespassers. Others said that he's a vampire, which was completely ridiculous. Even so, whatever rumors there were true or not, they were always able to send chills down the spines of the mortals. It was just a day ago that Andrew suddenly died, reasons unknown since investigators were afraid of going into the manor themselves.

"Hey, Neil!" Neil, a rather stiff, skinny, young man, jumped and turned to his college roommates: Chris and Cody, two brothers that were the same. Huge, bulky, and enjoyed dunking students heads in the toilet. They've done that to Neil 10 times he even counted. "Well?" Chris, who was leaning against a rotten tree, asked. "Going in or not?" "Your not scared are you?" Cody snickered. "No." Neil managed to say "I'm…" He looked up at the creaky manor again. "Just getting ready." "Ya right, your scared. What's the matter? Are you CHICKEN?!" The two bullies roared with laughter. Neil just gave them a look. "C'mon!" Chris said at last. "Just go in, grab the treasure then come back out and give it us!" Yes, it was rumored that Andrew kept a sacred treasure in the manor. People were eager to get their greedy hands on it but were too afraid. "You promise you won't bother me anymore if I do this?" Neil asked.
"Ya, of course, pipsqueak!" Cody replied. Then they both crossed their arms and said together. "Cross our hearts, and hope to die!" Neil rolled his eyes then looked back at the manor. It's mossy windows seem to be gazing down at him. Neil took a step forward towards the rotten, wooden door. Then another and another. For an odd reason, he felt comfortable doing this.

"That's it, chap! Your doing it!" Neil heard Chris call. Again Neil rolled his eyes. Now he was right in front of the door, the doorknob just begging him to open it. Neil looked above at the manor, a feeling coming over him. It doesn't seem that bad. Any other person would run before they would even get close to the door. Oddly, Neil felt no such fear. Slowly he reached over and grabbed the doorknob. It felt warm. He managed to open it a crack before Chris screamed. "If you die! We'll tell your parents what happened!" "And we'll be there for your funeral!" Cody added in. They both started laughing again. Neil turned to them giving them another look then slowly he entered the manor, closing the door behind him.

There was a narrow hallway that seemed to stretch on and on with no end. The floor was wooden with a long gray rug with strange yellow designs and symbols. The black colored walls were covered with paintings, all of various Ghost Pokemon; from Ghastly to Froslass. Neil gazed around the hallway. He definitely did not expect this. Outside, the manor was aged and somber.  But inside it was quite beautiful, not to mention fancy. There were stairs to the right side of the hall, leading up to the tower no doubt. "Might as well start there" Neil told himself. He turned and made his way up the stairs. Only, If Neil had looked at the paintings around him, he would have seen the eyes of the Ghost Types moving. If he stayed there longer he would have seen the paintings come alive, cackling, and slowly head up the stairs right behind Neil.

Eventually, Neil found himself in a large bedroom, or so it seemed. Like the hallway below, the walls were black and the floor wooden with a similar looking rug. There were two book selves, both crammed with thick leather books, and outside near with window was a telescope that gazed strait into the town. There was a giant bed in the corner, large enough to fit a Snorlax. Neil was surprised it still fit in the room. And in the right side of the room, was a treasure chest, covered with a purple blanket, the only thing that seemed to brighten the dark room. Only Neil wasn't paying any attention to it, he was busy gazing across the room. "This is..…" he thought to himself. "A lot better then I expected"

"What else do you expect?"

Neil froze. "W-Whose there?!"

"Hey, Hey, relax….Here's a little something for ya"

Neil kept turning, examining every corner in the room, searching for whoever whispered right into his ear. No one was there.

Then he looked at the treasure chest. The reason why he was there.

Only it wasn't inside the chest that got his attention, it was on top of the chest that got his attention.

On top of the chest, was what appeared to be an antenna. It was colored yellow, the same color as the designs on the rugs. It seemed to be spiral shaped and, oddly, the same size as Neil's head.

"Well? Aren't you going to put it on?"

Neil stared at the antenna, intrigued by it. He felt a strange power coming from it, pulling him closer, begging him to put it on. He couldn't help it. Slowly Neil picked up the antenna and lifted it over his head. He hesitated. "What'll happen if I put it on?"

"You'll see, let's just say you'll get the chance to get revenge on those two idiots outside"

Music to Neil's ears.
He put the antenna on his head.

He felt it. The power he felt when saw it, it was all swarming into his body. He looked down at his arms. There were bulging and getting heavier, his sweater tearing apart in the process. He cringed as they grew longer, turning the same gray shade as the rugs. His hands flattened into a square-like shape, the color changing to a light gray as it increased in size, growing larger then his own head. He nearly toppled over from the size, until the rest of his body began to change. He grew taller and his body bloated out into a circular shape, an empty space forming at the base of his stomach, becoming his second mouth. His legs fused together and shrink until they became nothing but a crooked little tai, leaving his jeans out of place. The center of his neck thickened as a massive collar phased from it, stretching across his back. His ears, mouth, nose, and chin faded into nothing less, and his eyes fused into one, the opening maw turning dark as his eye color changed from green to yellow and deep red.

Only seconds later, the transformation was complete.

Neil felt dizzy and held his huge head with his hands.

"There there, chap. The feeling will pass"

Neil blinked as he looked down at his enormous arms, and then the remains of the clothing, on the floor. "W-What...what happened?"
His voice was a lot deeper now; a combination of the rumble of thunder and the ominous cackling of a demon. "W-what...a-am I??"

"A Dusknoir, what else?"

Neil raised his head and turned to a mirror that hung next to the bed. His single eye widened in amazement. It was true. The antenna had changed him into a Dusknoir.

"I know what your gonna say, fatty. I'll explain"

Neil blinked again. "Fatty?" He felt a chill in the air behind him. He turned
Behind him, were the Pokemon from the paintings. A Ghastly, Mismagius, Froslass, Haunter, and a Gengar. Neil stared at them, they seemed so small compared to him.
The Genger made a smug little grin and waved it's hand around. "I'm the one whispern' in your head. Keheheh" Neil just stared, unsure what to say. The Gengar took a step forward. " Here, Here, let me explain. First of all as you can tell, our former Master Andrew was in love with us Ghost Types!" He did a little twirl, making the other Ghost types laugh. Neil wasn't amused. "Go on.." Gengar looked at him. "Alright, Alright. Well, Andrew loved Ghost Type's so much he wanted to BE one of us. So after years and years of work He finally made that antenna so he could become a Dusknoir and hang around with us!" He suddenly looked a little sad. "But he just had to have that heart attack, yesterday." He looked happy again. "We wanted a Dusknoir around here so we chose you to be one, since you seem to be the smartest and most serious guy around the town!"

Neil widened his gaze again, then looked down at his massive arms. He wiggled his thick fingers and smiled, though he didn't really have a mouth anymore, save the one on his stomach. "Well……" He chuckled a little, it sounded almost evil. "Thank you"
The Gengar and all the other Ghost Types looked happy. "So ya like it? Are you gonna stay?!" The Froslass asked. Neil looked at them. " Yes…."
They cheered and Neil just rolled his eye.

"HEY, NEIL!!!" Chris's voice came through the window. "ARE YOU DEAD YET??!!" There was laughter again.

Neil glared out the window, tightening his fists.
The Gengar noticed. "Hehehe…I know Scaring ain't the Dusknoir thing, but even so. Wanna go for it?!" Neil turned to him and smiled again. "Oooh. Yes." He looked out the window again. " I Think I really am going to enjoy this"
